Keyword Optimizer SEO Plugin

My first post in iBlogPlanets new category — “WordPress”. I think I’m a bit late in adding this category to my blog, but better now than never. I’ll be covering just about everything having to do with WordPress, from the platform itself, to WordPress themes, to WordPress plugins.

I’m going to start the new WordPress Category off with a post about a plugin I recently began using on a niche site of mine. The plugin is “Keyword Optimizer SEO Plugin” and one that people looking to make money online (whether it’s from their blog or niche sites) should use.

What does the plugin do?

Simply said, the plugin allows you to optimize certain keywords using the <strong>, <em>, and <u> tags. I never knew something as simple as bolding keywords would benefit me SEO-wise (stupid me, I know) but am glad I know now. And with the help of this plugin, optimizing the keywords of my choice couldn’t be any easier. Below is a screenshot of the settings page for the plugin, which will be followed by brief instructions on how to use it (which is extremely easy).

keyword optimizer plugin admin screenshot Keyword Optimizer SEO PluginOkay, as you can see, a very easy settings page. Here’s how to get it going:

1) Enable the tags you want automatically placed throughout your blog (on my niche site, I’m currently using the <strong> option)

2) Type in the keywords which you want bolded on the <strong> Keywords line. If you want multiple keywords, seperate them by a comma.

3) Next to limit, type in how many times per post you want the tag added to the keyword(s) you chose. I went with 5 on my niche site, which I think is fairly reasonable.

Easy as that — you’re good to go!

I really wish I had discovered this plugin earlier, or furthermore, knew that adding certain tags to keywords would help from a SEO stand point. But as I said before, at least I know now! I’m sure a good chunk of my readers already were aware of the effect of tags on SEO, and possibly even the plugin, but if not, hope this helped!

Gooroo, I have not tried this plugin yet either. It looks promising for sure. I am interested to see if you get some comments from people who have been using it for a while and to find out if they are having positive results. Thanks for sharing. I am excited about your new WordPress category as well :)

Great plugin Doug. Although, you already rank for “making money online” after 2 months, so I don’t think you really need this. :P

Btw, I’m about to send you an email. Just wanted to get some advice from you. Get back to me whenever you can.

This is a pretty good plugin all though for someone like me I don’t need to optimize any specific word so I prefer to do it on a post by post basis.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Same here (for my blog). I only use the Keyword Optimizer SEO Plugin on my niche sites, which I don’t have too many of. :P

The SEO plugin feature is such a benefit that I strongly suggest to my small business clients that the use WordPress as their actual website, not just for blogging. WordPress gives you such nice plugins to use to help you gain visibility, it’s a shame to design a site without it.

I completely agree with you. To be honest, I even use WordPress for a few of my niche sites. It makes things MUCH easier than they would be if I was to create a full HTML website.

Glad to see that you are diversifying your blog even further. The more you are diversified the more likely you are to have lots of visitors.

It’s definitely a beneficial plug-in. Essentially I believe it can be best recommended for small businesses & newbies as for biggies, you better choose high value SEO plug-ins. Congrats for new category!

Impressive, this could save some people an awfully lot of time. ^^ Upon reading this I went back to my recent post and make sure I got the keywords ‘emphasized’ where they should. Good to know there’s a plugin existed. Will put it into consideration when I’m going for the heavy use of keywords. Thanks Gooroo, always love to hear more about WP plugins.

Glad you mention that actually. This is a great plugin for those running autopilot blogs.

Its a nice plugin as described.. But I am not going to use it coz I personally prefer to highlight important text/keywords of my post myself. Its true, making keywords in post bold certainly adds to seo.
BTW, nice blog,, just subscribed to your feeds

    • September 6, 2009 at 4:53 pm #

No worries, some people prefer to do things manually, which is perfectly fine!

Glad you like my blog, and hope to see you around regularly. :)
