Does Automation Equal Success In The Online World?

I used to be completely on one of of this spectrum; I was completely against automation. Shortly put, tasks such as article writing, website design, backlink building, and so forth, we’re done my myself (our by people I outsourced the work to). I never used any programs or bots to automate those tasks, simply because I felt that automation was dooming myself to create “crappy” work. Man, was I wrong or what.

I’ve recently got a whole lot more into internet marketing (after all, that is where a lot of the money is nowadays icon wink Does Automation Equal Success In The Online World? ). And as we all know, a big part of internet marketing is SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which also includes back linking. At first, I tried doing this manually, being an ethical person and all, but pretty much quit a few months in. Sure, it would be possible to see results doing things ethically, without automation; but it would take far too much time. So what did I do? Simple; automated link building. How? I’ll get into that next.

Many of you are probably familiar with Scrapebox (FYI, don’t worry; I’m not gonna pop an affiliate link up or anything). Scrapebox is basically a powerful that automates blog commenting to just about any platform you imagine. Is it a spamming tool? I guess it depends how you use it. Personally, I don’t use it as a spamming tool, but like I said, as a back linking tool. The program allows me to scrape high page rank blogs, sort them, remove duplicate domains, check outbound links, and the list goes on. I can’t begin to explain how much time the program has saved me. Sure, I could sit there and helplessly comment manually all day, but in this day and time, is that honestly going to work? Not in my opinion. With Scrapebox, I get tasks done in a thousandth of the time I would get them done manually.

In my opinion, nowadays, automation DOES equal success. It’s a hectic world, and playing things smart is become a big role in being successful online. What do I mean by “playing things smart”? Well, looking for ways to increase productivity. On the other hand, you have to be careful how you use automation tools (Scrapebox included) because if used improperly, you can hurt yourself more than help yourself.

I’m currently using Scrapebox on two of my sites which I’ll give details about below (details are for Google).
