Before I start, I hope I don’t seem like I’m bragging. That is not what I’m doing at all. I’m simply sharing my slight success, and hopefully motivating others who are not yet making money online. I did it, so why can’t you? Below is a picture of my most recent check from affiliate program Neverblue. I’ve also earned money from Google Adsense, and I will post a screen shot of my next check (when it comes in a few days). I won’t lie though – earning from Adsense was much harder than affiliate marketing with Neverblue.
First off, I’m not familiar with posting images of checks online, so I blurred out almost everything to be on the safe side (hope I didn’t overdo it ). I realize this is only $153.00, but let me explain further. All of this (all $153.00) was from ONE campaign. Yes, ONE! I did not have to sell a single product either. This was a simple zip submit. I bought a cheap .info domain, and the rest was profit. How did I do it? Two things I did:
1) Article Marketing (only wrote 5 or so articles to Ezine)
2) Yahoo Answers
I probably should have put Yahoo Answers first because that was my highest source of traffic. Actually, Id say 95% of the money I made from this campaign was as a result of traffic from Yahoo Answers. I did all the answering there my self, but you can hire outsourcers to speed up the process. There really is not much more for me to say. That is ALL I did – and the money just came in.
Aside from this $153.00, I made $120 from this campaign this month. I realize this is less than the first months earnings, but let me finish. I haven’t worked at ALL on this campaign this month. $120 on autopilot. Not bad, right?
Anyways, I won’t ramble any further. I just wanted to share this to helpfully motivate others a bit. You can make money online. Put your mind to it, don’t quit, and the money will come.

I’d be glad to share my tips. Once my new blog is stable, I will make a few posts about how I did it. I mean, I didn’t make a million dollars, but I feel that $153.00 is a landmark, considering it was my first time affiliate marketing.

I don’t try to make anything from my blogs yet. I’d rather make my blog big, then concentrate on earnings.

I’m also planning on posting a “summary” on my soon when it has been online almost a full month, complete with earnings, pageviews, bounce rate etc. I don’t think there’s much of a downside to post this, hopefully it will add some “followers” that will be interested in following my progress – like I’m following yours
Obviously if people think it’s stupid to post visitor stats, I will reconsider… what do you think? And what made you NOT post visitor stats as well? I mean, it could be relevant if $153 were made with just 5 visitors a day or if it was with 100,000 visitors a day

As for visits, my HostGator CPanel says 1032 visits (not that accurate I’ve heard though). Neverblue stats:
- 262 Impressions
- 143 Conversions
- 54.58% Conversion Rate
Very good conversion rate
I don’t see Google Analytics in your sourcecode, you should really consider adding this – it’s a GREAT free tool to keep track on tons of stuff when it comes to visitors.
Yeah, I should probably do that soon. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Google Analytics.

Hi Gooroo, I think making a hundred something every month on one affiliate is a great thing to talk about. Just think if you have more than one affiliate and then you’ve got a couple of hundred every month which is not a bad passive income, or for some people that can be a car payment(maybe to keep the bread winner driving to work) or groceries for a family to survive. Now a days I think any amount one can make from blogging or owning a website I say “way to go your the man”!!! I will also come back when you write that post about Neverblue and how & what you had to do. I’ve seen Neverblue but have never really read too much about them. So thanks for this great post and a big congrats to you!! jj

I do agree with you completely. In such a tough economy, every dollar counts, right!? I don’t have a car yet, but you just gave me a good idea. If I can increase my income from affiliate marketing, I could think of leasing a car. Looking forward to seeing you back for my post about Neverblue.
