Personally, I don’t use an auto responder with any of my affiliate sites, and recently, I’d been doing a bit of thinking. Can an internet marketer be successful without an auto responder, or is it possible to be successful without one? Quite frankly, based on what I read in the past few days, I would personally conclude that it is impossible to be a successful internet marketer without an auto responder. I’m sure some have “achieved the impossible”, but generally speaking, it is difficult. Why? Well, auto responders make many of the marketing tasks required to make an online business successful, much easier.
If you’re an internet marketer, it is definitely no secret that internet marketing can take up a lot of time. One of the big time consumers is keeping in touch with your customers and such. An auto responder makes doing so much, much easier. It’s extremely important to build a good relationship with your soon to be customers, or maintain a good relationship with your past customers.
Auto responders allow you to send out sales pitches, email courses, reminders, and a lot more. Come to think of it, one can think of many ways to use their auto responder to create more sales. Get creative!
So yes, in short, to be a successful internet marketer, auto responder is going to be needed (and an opt-in list obviously). Without an auto responder, almost all of the most successful internet marketers would not be where they are right now in their career.
Sure you can make some money without an autoresponder… but it is A LOT MORE WORK. An autoresponder if setup right is like a 24-7 “never needs sleep” sales machine that is engaging with your with your subscribers while you do other things.

That is true. I guess the advantage is that you don’t need to sit there and send all those emails, all day. Your auto responder can do that.
Actually I rarely read email that from autoresponder =)
Hm, that is one downside. Many people will not read emails from auto responders. Thus, the secret is to write the email in a sense that it is not obvious it is from an auto responder.
Well, anyone can be a successfull internet marketer, it is not “impossible without an autoresponder,” you just may not as succesfull as some other people that do use autoresponders.
Yeah, I think I exaggerated a bit. Just like you said, I feel that it is much easier with an auto responder.
I think autoresponder is a must for every internet marketer. It makes your work quite easy. But, it is not like that you can’t be a successful internet marketer without this. It just makes the task easy and saves much of your time.
That is true. It is not required, but it sure makes the job easier.

As for me, auto responder is just a means of notification that one’s have received your mail or not. Some sort of thank you message ?From my point of view much reader would not be looking at what you like to market about in auto responder,you should direct them to your site, which brings the value to your blog.
